The Birdie has a resin base with a hand-painted distressed taupe, grey, and blue. She is topped with a lovely 15 inch wide hardback drum shade with a touch of variation in the fabric threads (see zoomed image). The shade attaches using the included harp and finial. This plug-in lamp uses a maximum 100 watt medium/standard base bulb (not included).
